Geometry Dash Sonic Wave is one of the hardest custom levels the community has ever produced, playable in a browser without the base game — no download, no account, no install.
The rules are the rules of Geometry Dash. Your icon moves forward on its own and never stops, and the only input is a single tap that makes it jump, flip gravity or hold a flight path depending on which form it is currently in. The level cycles through cube, ship, ball, UFO, wave, robot and spider sections, and each one demands a different reading of the same one button.
What makes Sonic Wave notorious is the wave. In wave mode the icon becomes a small arrow that rises while you hold and falls when you release, and the corridors it has to thread are only a few pixels wide. Later sections compress the pattern further and add speed changes that force you to relearn the timing you just spent an hour memorising. There are no checkpoints in normal mode.
This build includes practice mode, which is the honest way to approach it: run a segment until the muscle memory holds, then string segments together. Expect the completion counter to stay low for a long time; that is the design, not a fault.
It is a landscape game and a keyboard is strongly recommended, though tapping works.
On cool games spot this page is the index entry: cover, description, and search terms. The game itself is loaded from a third-party web build in an iframe on Play, so nothing is bundled into the site. It is filed under action and tagged running, so it appears alongside the rest of the running games in the catalog.
Press Play and find out.
