BlockBlast

BlockBlast is a block-fitting grid with no timer. It runs in the browser: no download, no account, no install.

Drag shapes onto the board and clear rows and columns. The controls fit on one line, which is why it works as a tab you open for five minutes rather than a game you schedule time for.

The design does one thing well: the lack of a clock is what makes a bad placement so expensive. That is what an arcade game should be doing.
