Color Tunnel is a tunnel racer built on colour matching. It runs in the browser: no download, no account, no install.

Slide sideways so your ball matches the band it hits. A round lasts a couple of minutes at most, and losing costs nothing, so the natural reaction to a failed run is to start another one immediately.

The reason it holds attention is that the tunnel rotates faster than you can react, so it becomes a rhythm game. That is what an action game should be doing.
