Western Sniper is a fixed-position shooting gallery set in the old west. It runs in the browser: no download, no account, no install.

Line up the shot, hold your breath, and fire before the target moves on. A round lasts a couple of minutes at most, and losing costs nothing, so the natural reaction to a failed run is to start another one immediately.

The reason it holds attention is that later levels put hostages in the firing line, so a clean headshot is worth more than a fast one. That is what a shooter game should be doing.
