About Geometry Dash Nine Circles

Geometry Dash Nine Circles is the level that started a genre: strobing wave sections, a red-and-black palette, and no checkpoints.

Geometry Dash Nine Circles is the custom level that defined a whole style of custom levels, and it runs in a browser without the base game — no download, no account, no install.

It plays exactly like Geometry Dash. One button does everything: tap to jump in cube sections, hold to steer in ship and wave sections, time the presses around orbs and gravity gates in the ball sections. The level never stops moving forward, and touching anything hostile sends you back to the start.

What Nine Circles contributed is the look. The palette is red and black, and the wave sections are covered in strobing light effects that deliberately obscure the corridor you are meant to thread. That is the challenge: you cannot react to what you cannot see, so the level has to be memorised in pieces and then performed from memory. The famous wave segment is where most attempts end.

Difficulty is rated as a Hard Demon, which sits below the Extreme Demon tier but far above anything in the main game. Practice mode is the intended way in — learn a segment in isolation, then join segments together, then accept that the last stretch will take a very long time.

It is a landscape game and a keyboard is strongly recommended.

On cool games spot this page is the index entry: cover, description, and search terms. The game itself is loaded from a third-party web build in an iframe on Play, so nothing is bundled into the site. It is filed under action and tagged running, so it appears alongside the rest of the running games in the catalog.

Press Play and find out.
