Tap Tap Shots is a basketball game with a control scheme you can explain in four words. It runs in the browser — no download, no account, no install.

You tap, and the ball goes up. Tap again and the next ball launches from where the hoop now is. The ball arcs under gravity and either drops through the net or does not, and the game's difficulty comes entirely from how far the hoop moves between attempts — early on it slides gently, and later it jumps around the screen with no regard for where your hand happens to be.

The scoring rewards rhythm over luck. Consecutive successes build a streak, the streak is where the points are, and the game keeps a personal best that is genuinely difficult to beat because the last few shots require you to predict a target that is already moving. There is no timer, so the pressure is entirely self-imposed, which is a kinder design than it sounds.

It is a one-thumb game on a phone and a one-button game with a mouse, and a round takes less than a minute.
