Sprunki is a music-making toy rather than a game you win, and the entire interface is drag and drop. It runs in the browser — no download, no account, no install.

The stage is a row of characters, and each character owns one loop: a kick, a bassline, a melody, a vocal chop. Drag a character onto the stage and their loop joins the track. Drag another and it layers on top. There are no wrong answers and no fail state — the game is a mixing desk disguised as a set of cartoon figures.

What makes it work is the synchronisation. Loops are quantised to a shared tempo, so anything you place lands in time with everything already playing, and combinations that have no business working together resolve into something listenable. That is the whole appeal: you get the feeling of arranging music without needing to know anything about arranging music.

The cast is large enough that the combinations run into the thousands, and the game leans into the internet-horror flavour of its source material — a second, more unsettling register of characters and visuals exists alongside the cheerful one, and finding it is part of the fun for people who know the reference.

The controls are mouse or touch, and it is one of the few games in this catalog that genuinely works as well on a phone as on a desktop.
